Dog Daycare in Hampstead: What a Good Day Looks Like for Your Dog

If you live in Hampstead and you’re back in the office a few days a week, you’ve probably started wondering what your dog does all day. A walk at lunchtime helps, but for a young, energetic or anxious dog, a full day out can make a real difference. Here’s what to look for in dog daycare in Hampstead, and what a day with us looks like.

What to look for

The same person every time. Dogs settle fastest when they know who’s coming through the door. For dogs struggling with you being out of the house, that familiarity matters even more.

Proper time outdoors. Ask how many hours your dog actually spends out and moving. A tired, happy dog is a calm dog in the evening.

Small, well-matched groups. Friendly dogs that enjoy each other’s company come home relaxed. A good daycare will be honest if your dog wouldn’t suit the group.

Collection from home. Most Hampstead owners are at work when we arrive. We hold a spare key or a key safe code, so you don’t need to be in.

Updates you can see. A video in the middle of the day tells you more than any report.

A day with Premier Dog Walkers

Our daycare is run by Warren, every day, so your dog has the same person every time.

  • 8:30 to 9:30: Warren collects from home in Hampstead.
  • About 40 minutes: the drive out. Dogs settle on the way and arrive calm.
  • Four hours in the Secret Woodland: a wild, natural wood we’re lucky enough to use. There are no fences or indoor rooms, just ferns, bushes and trees for the dogs to run through, sniff and explore in a group of six.
  • During the day: WhatsApp videos, so you can see who your dog has been running around with.
  • 3:00 to 4:00: home again, settled and properly tired.

Daycare is £55 a day, including pickup and drop-off.

Is it right for your dog?

Daycare suits friendly, sociable dogs who enjoy being around other dogs. It can be a real help for young dogs with lots of energy, and for dogs who find long days at home hard. If you’re not sure, message Warren and he’ll tell you honestly whether your dog would enjoy it.

Daycare dogs don’t go to Hampstead Heath. If you’d rather have a walk on Hampstead Heath, our dog walkers in Hampstead take groups of four on the main Heath, West Heath and the Hampstead Heath Extension.
